Who We Are
Florence Crittenton is a nonprofit agency providing mental and behavioral health services. Rooted in the social justice movement, Florence Crittenton has empowered women, families, and the community for over a century. More recently, our passion for the mind body connection has expanded our focus to include overall wellness of persons served. Our mission continues as we empower families through a continuum of behavioral health services to increase hope, relieve distress, and achieve promising futures.
Florence Crittenton has always served marginalized populations. We have a specialty of working with children and families, who have experienced traumatic events, are victims of abuse, are sexually exploited or trafficked, are facing mental health disorders, are at risk of suicide, or are living in environments of chronic stress.
At Florence Crittenton, our focus is on healing the wounds of the past and providing hope for the future. While our agency’s long-time focus has been adolescent girls, we have expanded our services, some of which cater to all ages and genders, to meet the current needs of the community.
