Junior Achievement of Kansas

Junior Achievement's Purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Though highly developed, quality curriculum materials provided by Junior Achievement USA, representatives from local employers go into area classrooms, teaching students about the real world of work. Students learn the value of free enterprise, understand business and economics, become workforce ready and are exposed to the importance of staying in school. All lessons are highly interactive and incorporate real-world experiences into lessons for the child’s future. Junior Achievement programs are available for grades K-12. Through JA’s financial literacy, workforce development and entrepreneurship programs delivered by volunteers, children connect classroom learning with real life. This allows them to recognize the value of staying in school, and therefore, increases graduation rates.
