Who We Are
VIDA Topeka is a group of volunteers who seek to partner with Topeka's Latino community to respond to their needs, strengthen community, facilitate integration, and create lasting relationships.
What We Do
We offer a variety of classes to adult students, including English as a Second Language (ESL), citizenship, nutrition, and Spanish classes. We provide childcare and a homework center for children of our students during class times as well.
Evening classes for English are typically held on Monday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. at the Topeka Public Library 1515 SW 10th St. in Topeka
Volunteers can teach, assist in the classroom, be conversation partners, tutor, help in the garden or provide child care during our classes.
