Who We Are

Ecumenical Campus Ministries (ECM) is a registered non-profit dedicated to serving KU students and the Lawrence community. We strive to be sensitive, accepting, intellectually honest, and liberating in the matter of how humans cultivate and know a sense of purpose in their lives.

What We Do

ECM offers a number of programs and opportunities for students and community members, including our popular Veggie Lunch; Tai Chi, Capoeira, and Kickboxing classes; International Movie Nights; and our People's Forum Speakers Series.

We collaborate with community organizations and local social justice groups, including environmentalists, a tenants union, labor unions, queer and trans advocacy groups, and mutual aid networks. The ECM is becoming a hub for these organizations and individuals to gather, support each other, and share ideas - all in the name of making Lawrence a more just and equitable community. The ECM is also home to the Solidarity Library, Lawrence Food Not Bombs, and Bread & Roses Press.

ECM is always looking for compassionate volunteers to help maintain our facility and programs.
