Who We Are

Ballard Center additionally supports families with wrap-around services through a variety of human service programs. These keep children fed, clothed, and sheltered while they attend the program and as their parents work towards a goal of increased financial stability. Programs include food security, clothing assistance (including a work-wear closet) assistance with rent and utilities, and gifts through the holiday Adopt-a-Family program.

Ballard Center provides early education services, a free food and clothing pantry, emergency assistance, and holiday assistance. The early education program uses an evidence-based curriculum to structure classroom activities to best help children learn. Children master developmentally appropriate tasks, and learn valuable social skills that help them adapt to classrooms. Families are also supported by a family connections coordinator who assists families in parenting needs, kindergarten readiness, and developmental screening.

What We Do

Ballard Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit that partners with families to achieve stability through early childhood education and needs-based services by cultivating a strong network of organizations, businesses, and individuals dedicated to serving our community
