Who We Are
Cover Kansas Navigators play a key role in helping consumers enroll in health insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace. This includes helping consumers prepare electronic and paper applications to establish eligibility; find out if they qualify for insurance affordability programs including a premium tax credit, cost-sharing reductions, Medicaid, and the Children's Health Insurance Program; and to enroll when eligible.
To connect with free, unbiased assistance, visit GetCoveredKansas.org or call toll-free 1-866-826-8375. Cover Kansas also now offers a Virtual Navigator who can help over the phone or video call for Kansans who are not able to meet with a nearby Navigator.
Navigators provide outreach and education to raise awareness about the Health Insurance Marketplace. When necessary they will refer consumers to ombudsmen and other consumers assistance programs.
What We Do
The Cover Kansas Project supports a statewide network of Certified Navigators who provide accurate information and help with the Federally Facilitated Health Insurance Marketplace application and enrollment process.
The Cover Kansas Project is an effort of the Cover Kansas Consortium led by the Community Care Network of Kansas as the lead grantee. The Cover Kansas is funded by a Federal Navigator Grant awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
