Who We Are
Our members are a diverse cross-section of local women and men with a common interest in helping the youth of our community grow. Also, we all are optimists, which makes participation a lot more fun.
What We Do
The Lawrence Breakfast Optimist Club serves the youth of Douglas County. We contribute time, leadership, and money to a number of youth organizations. We are LEAP partners with New York Elementary School, sponsor oratorical contests, and enjoy a handful of key fundraisers: chili feed, Buskerfest, pancake feed, and Christmas trees.
