Child Care Aware® of Eastern Kansas

Founded December 4, 1978, as Everywoman's Resource Center, Child Care Aware^® of Eastern Kansas is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization focused on improving the lives of children and their families. Our goal is for all children in Kansas to have the best start in life during critical stages of development so they have a solid foundation for growing into healthy, productive citizens.

The agency is supported through various sources, including support from individual donors, grants and contracts (statewide, regional, and local efforts), and special projects. The annual Celebrity Waiter Gala also raises significant support.

Child Care Aware^® of Eastern Kansas supports the healthy development of young children by improving access to high-quality child care options and educational resources for families and early childhood professionals.
