Kansas Children's Discovery Center

The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is a hands-on children’s museum in Topeka, Kansas, dedicated to enriching children’s lives through play. Since 2011, we’ve welcomed over 1 million visitors from all 50 states and 23 countries. Our 15,000-square-foot museum features interactive exhibits on science, art, careers, and more, plus a 4.5-acre outdoor nature classroom.

We believe play is powerful. Through daily programs, field trips, and outreach, we inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Committed to access for all, we provide free and discounted admissions for families in need and develop programs for medically fragile children, those with incarcerated caregivers, and other vulnerable groups. At the Discovery Center, every child can explore, create, and grow.
