The Free Seed Fair is Postponed until Further Notice! Stay Tuned.

This free event is open the the public, except commercial growers, to visit the fair and collect the seeds they need for the 2020 growing season.  Seeds are provided through a matching grant from Shawnee County Extension Education Foundation and Topeka Common Ground, Inc.  Seeds are also donated from Jackson's Greenhouse, Skinner's Nursery and Roach Hardware.

There will be representatives at information tables from K-State Research and Extension --Shawnee County SNAP-Ed; Extension Master Gardeners; Kansas Native Plant Society; Topeka Audubon Society; Kansas Native Seed Sales; Kansas Permaculture Institute and the Lion's Club will provide vision screening.

Vida Ministries will be selling Tamales, $20 per dozen, as a fundraiser for their garden.

Master Gardeners will hold free workshops on: Attracting Pollinators; Community Gardening; and Attracting Beneficial Wildlife to Your Garden.
