Description

***UPDATE: Thank you to all who registered! We have reached our maximum registration for this event as well as the training in July. Please follow YWCA Northeast Kansas for future racial justice oriented events including June YWCA Empower Hour and YWCA Racism 101.***

YWCA Northeast Kansas is dedicated to promoting racial equity by partnering with individuals, organizations, and businesses through racial justice training, advocacy, outreach and education.

The first step in a racial justice journey is to understand what racism is and learn how to talk about it.

We invite you to get up and #dothework by joining us for a FREE two-session racial justice facilitator training. By registering for this training, you commit to attending the sessions on both Friday, June 12th AND Friday, June 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please complete your free registration by clicking the ticketing link.

This training is limited to 25 registrants, free of charge, online, and open to the public. Should we reach the limit, we will set up a second cohort.

YWCA’s racial justice work is made possible in part by the generosity of Kansas Gas Service and their commitment to their core value of inclusion and diversity. Check out YWCA’s Advocacy and Racial Justice work and advocacy priorities here and find this event on Facebook.
