Come join our caring and dedicated team as an Office Administrative Volunteer.  We are seeking individuals to assist with office support by performing the following administrative tasks: filing, data entry, copying, mail-outs, organizing the supplies, and making patient informational packets.  Additionally, fun seasonal and special projects as needed! 

This is a great opportunity for any teens 16+ who require community service hours for school or just want to gain experience for their résumés. We are a fun professional group of individuals committed to providing the best care to our patients!  Training and guided onboarding will be provided by Ascend and must be completed before volunteering! 

An AscEnd of Life Doula is an intensively trained hospice volunteer who provides non-medical holistic support and comfort to the patient and their family, which may include education and guidance as well as emotional and spiritual care.  Doulas receive continual education and mentoring through online courses and our mentoring program.  

Doulas at Ascend will establish trust and build relationships with patients and families, focusing on what is most important and being an advocate of their wishes.  Doulas can provide companionship and support with deep listening and care.  Doulas do not replace our professional, medical hospice staff.
