Christmas Bureau is a program that provides food and gifts to families in need over the holiday season. For those who have been involved in the past, Christmas Bureau will look a little different this year to provide safety for all involved in the program.
The Intake Volunteer Opportunity is an in-person volunteer opportunity. This volunteer will help greet and direct individuals and families that enter the site. Volunteers will report to Echo Ridge Community Center to complete their volunteer shift.
We will be limiting our location to a maximum of 6 intake volunteers, along with the greeter and location program staff.
For this volunteer opportunity individuals are responsible for greeting clients as they enter the building. You will ensure they have all required documentation and the form is completely filled out. You will then assign them a number to be processed by an intake volunteer.
All Intake Volunteers will be required to complete a training to review the changes in the intake process; this training will be virtual, and held on Monday, October 28th at noon.
