Solidarity Library volunteer hours will include completing tasks to help us catalog our collections and get them ready to be checked-out. Examples of some of these tasks are listed below -
- Cataloging Books in the Library (re: digitally enter into a LibraryThing spreadsheet)
- Categorizing and marking new submissions
- Organizing the non-book items (i.e., magazines, zines, movies, board games, etc.)
Volunteers will be instructed on how to catalog items through our LibraryThing account as well as the categories we use to classify our collections.
Note: Volunteers have the option to sign up for both Monday and Wednesday or just one of the days
