PRIDE Block Party Set Up: 20 needed
Arrive at 10:30 a.m.
- Place barricades
- Set up tables for vendor spaces
- Assemble outdoor canopies
- Place and hang any decorations
- All other tasks as needed
Check-In Vendors: 3 needed per shift
1st Shift: 1:00-3:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: 3:00-5:00 p.m.
- Check-in block party vendors
- Assist them in finding their reserved spaces
ID Checkers: 3 needed per shift
1st Shift: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: 7:00-9:00 p.m.
3rd Shift: 9:00-11:00 p.m.
- Attendees must stop here prior to ordering alcohol from any vendors
- Review IDs to verify attendees are of legal drinking age, distribute wristbands
Kittens: 3 needed per shift
1st Shift: 1st Performance Set (Est. 6:00-7:20 p.m.)
2nd Shift: 2nd Performance Set (Est. 7:20-8:40 p.m.)
3rd Shift: 3rd Performance Set (Est. 8:40-10:00 p.m.)
- Collect cash tips from crowd during drag performances
Merch Table Attendees: 3 needed per shift
1st Shift: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
3rd Shift: 9:00-11:00 p.m.
- Sell Lawrence PRIDE merch to attendees
- Simple math required
- Use Square technology to run credit card payments
- Count back cash
PRIDE Block Party Tear Down: 15 needed
Tear down begins at 11:30 p.m.
- Take down decorations
- Clean up tables, chairs
- Remove any remaining trash
- All other tasks as needed
