Description

Flint Hills NSDA Qualifier Judge Recruitment

This year, the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) qualifying tournament for the Flint-Hills District will be held on April 17th and 18th at Washburn Rural High School (WRHS). We are looking for volunteer judges who would be able to adjudicate any of the rounds listed below.
  • Round 1: Friday, 4/17 at 3:30 pm
  • Round 2: Friday, 4/17 at 5:15 pm
  • Round 3: Saturday, 4/18 at 8:30 am
  • Round 4: Saturday, 4/18 at 10:30 am

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at your schedule and perhaps donate some of your time to the students from our district and their qualification to this national tournament. Our district has a proud history of success at NSDA nationals, and it is largely because of the folks who volunteer to judge rounds at our qualifier. Thank you so much for your time and any rounds that you might be able to judge truly make a difference!

The school is wheelchair accessible, and there will be four rounds, each lasting approximately an hour and a half. More information is available on the sign-up page for anyone interested in participating. Thank you for your support!

Signing up on KawValleyVolunteers.org does not notify the students that you are interested in judging for the NSDA tournament. However, you may also sign up on KawValleyVolunteers.org if you would like to log and track your volunteer hours.

This event is hosted by the Washburn Rural High School Debate team.
