Positive Bright Start is seeking community leaders who are passionate about ensuring every young child has access to high-quality early childhood education and therapeutic services, especially those whose needs are not met elsewhere.
As our organization implements its strategic plan, we are looking for board members who are committed to helping strengthen the long-term sustainability of our mission. Ideal candidates bring a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, community connections, governance experience, financial stewardship, fundraising, advocacy, or professional expertise that can help advance the organization.
Positive Bright Start serves a unique and essential role in our community by:
Providing free therapy services for children under age five.
Serving children who have been expelled from other early childhood settings.
Offering intentionally lower classroom ratios for children with significant behavioral needs.
Administering important community programs, including scholarships and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
As a board member, you will help safeguard these mission-critical services by supporting strategic planning, financial sustainability, community engagement, and organizational governance.
We welcome individuals who:
Believe in Positive Bright Start's mission and values.
Are willing to actively participate in board meetings and committee work.
Can contribute expertise, leadership, advocacy, or philanthropic support.
Are committed to helping diversify and strengthen the organization's financial future while protecting the essential services our community depends on.
If you are interested in serving or would like to learn more about board service, we encourage you to complete the Board Interest Form.
