Volunteers needed to help at our well-loved community book sales!
What you'll do:
- Cashiers
- Tally items for purchase using our flat pricing list
- Process cash, check, or credit card transactions
- Thank shoppers for supporting the library
- Attendants
- Keep shelves tidy and safe during the sale
- Offer bags and boxes to book-laden shoppers
- Restock shelves and displays
When we need help:
- Three major sales each year
- Spring | 2nd weekend in April
- Summer | 2nd weekend in July
- Fall | 2nd weekend in October
- Five one-day sales each year
- 2nd Saturdays in February, March, June, September, December
Why this helps:
- We keep our check-out lines short and our customers happy
- 100% of our library's programs are funded with community-raised dollars
