Servers are ESSENTIAL to keeping Lawrence Community Shelter guests fed while they are staying at the shelter! Servers will serve meals to guests through a cafeteria window during regular meal times. Servers are expected to help wash dishes. All guests at Lawrence Community Shelter are preparing to be housed from the moment they arrive. We need caring community members like YOU to make sure our guests see a friendly face while they are in a challenging moment of their lives.
Shifts may include 1-2 servers. A scheduling app is used to view open shifts and request shifts. Please arrive FIVE MINUTES EARLY for your shift. Lunch begins at noon. Dinner begins at 6pm.
