Help assemble hygiene kits that will be distributed by the Christmas Bureau during client intake. Volunteers will sort, organize, and pack essential personal care items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant.
This hands-on project supports local individuals and families by providing everyday necessities and helping create a positive, welcoming experience for those receiving assistance during the holiday season.
Volunteer teams and individuals are encouraged to collect hygiene items prior to 9/18 and bring the items to this project to be packed into kits. This is optional but helps us provide hygiene kits for even more people!

- Sort and organize supplies
- Assemble and pack hygiene kits
- Check kits for completeness
- Help keep the workspace organized
No experience is necessary. Volunteers should be comfortable standing for portions of the shift and performing light packing activities. Your time and effort will directly support families in our community through the Nancy Perry Day of Caring.
Kit supplies can be provided to your team to pack at your location, or a team can come to the UWKV Topeka office conference room to pack hygiene supply kits.
