Healthcare & Prescription Assistance
May 8, 2019
5:00pm - 8:00pm
Holton Community Hospital - 1110 Columbine Dr.
Applications open April 18 for review and close on May 3 at 5:00pm
You must either live or work in Jackson County, KS to participate
Volunteer grant reviewers are needed to help United Way of Greater Topeka decide how to invest funding in our Jackson County Basic Need area of Healthcare & Prescription Assistance.
Investment panels of 6 to 10 community volunteers review proposals to help evaluate potential program impact and effectiveness. You will review and score the applications on your own using our secure online investment software (e-CImpact) before joining other reviewers in an in-person investment panel session. You bring your input to the panel and participate in a facilitated discussion which results in consensus investment recommendations. Individual volunteer scores are kept confidential — only combined scores are shared with the group.
We estimate you will spend approximately 1-1.5 hours per submitted application. Number of agency applications will not be known by United Way until AFTER April 12.
We ask you to plan to stay for the full time allotted however, you may finish earlier.
A training or refresher training has been scheduled for April 16 from 12 - 1pm at the Holton School District Office. Please feel free to bring your lunch. If you plan to attend please RSVP using the link below.
