The Campaign for Grade Level Reading is partnering with USD 501 food distribution program to help promote active learning and reading this summer. This year we hope to distribute over 6000 books into our community to support summer reading.
We are looking for volunteers to help with distribution of books at each site. Each volunteer will be provided masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. The distribution of books or activities will be like a drive-up window. A family will drive up in their vehicle and we will distribute items into each vehicle. Actual distribution for each date is 11-12PM, but we will have you report 30 minutes before and help with clean-up later. You will also receive an email from United Way with more information before the event.
Please pay attention to location, all are located in the City of Topeka.
This should be mild risk level with potential exposure to COVID 19.
