This is a volunteer opportunity that has both a virtual and a report in-person requirements, which requires the volunteer to have access to a computer and internet.
The volunteer will first review applications for grants submitted in the strategy area of Access to Healthcare.
The applications focus on programs that:
- Promote access to mental and physical health care for low-income, uninsured, or underinsured community members.
- Promote prescription assistance for low-income, uninsured, or underinsured community members.
- Promote community care coordination and service referrals to improve health equity and health outcomes.
This opportunity will require the volunteer to review the applications and evaluate each based on a prescribed rubric. This evaluation will be completed in the e-CImpact online platform, and each volunteer will have access to training information and program support.
You will need to complete the review in the online system by March 23rd and be able to participate in an in-person review and investment decision process on Wednesday, March 29th from 8:30-10AM. Each volunteer will receive follow-up information on the review process.
Volunteers must work or live in Shawnee or Jefferson County to participate in this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers must also not work/volunteer or have a close contact that works/volunteers for an applicant agency for this specific strategy area.
