The Shawnee County Volunteer Expo is a celebration of local volunteering, as well as a tabling/recruitment opportunity for 50 community partners inside Fairlawn Plaza Mall on Thursday, April 18. Last year, over 400 guests met with 50 local agencies! Attendees will learn more about the services and volunteer roles available with the participating agencies. This is a come-and-go program, so we will have foot traffic throughout the day as people visit the tables and education sessions.
We need you to support United Way staff by helping with a variety of tasks: greet agencies and escort to tables, helping carry in items if needed; welcome guests at each entrance; provide hospitality to those tabling and pitch in when needed; and helping clean up at the end of the day.
Comfortable shoes will be helpful!
