Shawnee County Parks + Recreation wants to invite you to one of our greatest volunteer opportunities. We will begin planting thousands of Tulip Bulbs in preparation for Tulip Time, Tulip Festival and Tulips at Twilight. The fun will begin on October 21st at Ted Ensley Gardens/Lake Shawnee and Doran Rock Garden @ Gage Park.
Tulip Time is one of Shawnee County's favorite special events! More than 100,000 tulips of multiple varieties will blanket Ted Ensley Gardens at Lake Shawnee, Old Prairie Town/Ward-Meade Botanical Garden, and Doran Rock Garden at Gage Park. All proceeds during Tulip Time will go towards the Parks For All Foundation.
