Shawnee County Human Trafficking Coalition

A collaborative response to human trafficking that balances the needs of victims with the expectations of the criminal justice system. Members of the human trafficking coalition recognize that a victim-centered response is imperative in building rapport with victims that can increase their access to services and obtain their participation in the criminal justice process against their offenders.

The Coalition is committed to pursuing justice on behalf of the victims of human trafficking. Offenders will be pursued in the county, state, and federal courts, depending on which venue is most appropriate to the case.
