Who We Are
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. The American Cancer Society’s mission is to free the world from cancer. Until we do, we'll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention.
What We Do
The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. We have local programs and services for cancer patients and their families along with fundraising events that support cancer research, education, advocacy and the patient services.
