Community Children's Center works to close the gap in early childhood care in Douglas County.
What We Do
The Community Children’s Center strengthens the Douglas County early childhood community by providing resources, support, and education for families and early childhood care professionals. We are developing one Lawrence-based childcare space in partnership with Creating Connections at 346 Maine St.
The Family Resource Center branch offers an Early Childhood Clothing Closet, Grow & Go playgroups, the TYKES Online Parent Resource Hub, Responsive Care Giving classes, and direct peer support.
