Hospice care generally happens when someone nears the end of life. However, it doesn’t mean the end of hope. We believe in new beginnings at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, which is why we promise to provide health care that uplifts and edifies our clients receiving hospice care in the comfort of their own home.
What We Do
Phoenix Hospice’s volunteer program is looking for compassionate, caring members of our communities who are interested in hospice volunteering.
Do you have an interest in spending time with patients? Do you love engaging in a variety of activities or have a favorite one you’d like to share? Would you like to lend a helping hand in our office? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, Phoenix is looking for you!

Hospice volunteers can perform many tasks, here are some examples:
-Provide companionship
-Reading a book aloud
-Sing or play an instrument
-Be present with the patient
-Assist with administrative tasks at the Phoenix Office
-Send letters/cards or scrapbook from home

Requirements:
-You must be 16
-Pass background check
-Have valid ID
