Top City Promise

At Top City Promise, our mission is to offer hope and support to refugees by providing them with a safe place to live in Topeka, Kansas and surrounding areas, and connecting them with the necessary resources to establish a new life. We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming community that embraces diversity, promotes integration, and empowers refugees to thrive as they rebuild their lives. Together, we strive to create a brighter future for all, where every individual can find security, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. 

1. Housing Assistance: With the help of your donations, and hundreds of hours of service from local volunteers, refugee families are welcomed into prepared apartments.

2. Transportation: Transportation is essential for various aspects of life, including doctor's appointments, work, school, and grocery shopping. Top City Promise volunteers support refugees by aiding them with accessing bus passes, bicycles, and assisting with transportation until another mode of transportation is obtained.

3. Work, Language, and Medical Guidance: During their journey to independence and self-sufficiency, Top City Promise provides guidance and assistance to refugees in their job search, in their efforts to learn a new language, and in their search for medical care.
