Community Village Lawrence

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to making aging at home a possibility for older adults in Lawrence, Kansas. The overall goal of Community Village Lawrence is to enhance the quality of life for both members and volunteers.

Additional goals of Community Village Lawrence include: assist members with daily chores on an as-needed basis; provide transportation; connect members and volunteers through social activities; and provide members with a network of reliable, vetted, discounted local service providers (e.g., plumbers, housekeepers, lawn services).  

The mission of Community Village Lawrence is to enhance the quality of life for the entire community by helping neighbors remain in their homes as they age. We aim to do this by creating a network of supports (i.e., volunteers, service providers) following the national Village model to make aging at home a long-term, affordable option.
