We ask the community to donate gently used kitchen items- small appliances, dishes, cookware, etc. The kitchen sale is more than a chance to find great deals on gently used kitchen items — it’s a sale with a cause. This community-driven event offers affordable small appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, and more. Donations from community members make it possible to give these items a second life while helping neighbors build well-equipped kitchens of their own. Proceeds from the sale directly support efforts to reduce food insecurity in Douglas County. The Extension Master Food Volunteers are committed to donating a portion of the funds raised to local agencies working to improve access to food and strengthen community food systems.
