Our annual fundraiser, the Hoedown for Healthy Smiles, is coming up on Friday, October 24th! Held out at the rustically charming Circle S Ranch just north of Lawrence, this toe-tapping to-do will feature a delicious chuck wagon dinner, drinks, live music, square dancing, a baked goods auction and even a mechanical bull! What a great way to enjoy the beautiful fall weather in Kansas, while also supporting a great cause.
The Douglas County Dental Clinic provides emergency, preventive, and restorative care to low income, uninsured residents of Douglas County, KS and those with Kansas Medicaid. DCDC only serves individuals who are at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines. Last year the Clinic served 4,350 patients with more than 8,600 appointments.
