Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department has several opportunities for individuals to assist with flower planting and park clean up. Volunteers must be at least 16 years-old.
Wednesday, May 6, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.; 10 a.m. - noon; 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. - South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St. Volunteers are asked to assist with the planting of flowers in city parks.
Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves. If you don't have any, some will be provided. All other materials needed will be provided. Volunteers will receive more information concerning meeting locations upon completion of sign up.
