This event is a two-hour volunteer training for volunteers interested in participating as a reader with United Way. This training, conducted by Child Care Aware of Eastern Kansas, will teach you to actively engage young children with books and will provide other valuable tips and tricks for your volunteer experience.
Volunteers, age 16 years of age and older who can commit to at least 6 months of weekly reading are welcome to attend.
