The Kansas Food Truck Festival will return to the Warehouse Arts District with even more food and more entertainment on May 7, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The family-friendly event will benefit Just Food, the Douglas County food bank. The festival offers something for all tastes, whether it’s food, music or art you crave. About 26 food truck vendors from across the state are expected to offer dishes. Live music and performances as well as kid-friendly activities will keep the fun going all evening. The event will be held on the 800 block of Pennsylvania Street in East Lawrence. In order to make this event a success, we need volunteers from the community to help! All volunteers will receive access to the event for helping out outside of their volunteer shift.
