The Lawrence Humane Society's 3rd Annual Paw Valley Festival & 5K -- Lawrence's only dog-focused 5K and festival celebrating pets and the people who love them -- returns on Saturday, May 6 from 10am to 2pm at South Park! You're invited!
The day kicks off at 10am with the Paw Valley 5K -- race, run, jog or walk our timed 5K course with (or without) your canine companion. Registration is on sale now at www.lawrencehumane.org and includes chip timing, an event t-shirt, a runner bag full of goodies, and more!
Stick around after the run or join us at South Park for the Paw Valley Festival, featuring food and beer, local vendors, activities for the entire family, music, contests, and more! Plus, enter your pooch in the annual Skyhoundz Frisbee Disc Contest! The festival is free for all to attend!
All proceeds benefit the 3,800+ lost, abused and homeless animals that enter the Lawrence Humane Society every year through no fault of their own.
