Join us Saturday, August 24 for the 9th annual Downtown Adventure Race Topeka (DART), a benefit for Let’s Help, the non-profit working to break the cycle of poverty and promote self-sufficiency since 1969.
The DART is a fun and exciting, local event based on the TV show The Amazing Race where participants solve logic puzzles and compete in physical activities. This foot race takes place in Downtown Topeka, Saturday August 24, 2019 (8:00 a.m. DART; 9:00 a.m. DARTini) and includes the area from the Kansas River to 12th Street and from Topeka Boulevard to Adams.
Teams consisting of three to six members will accomplish both physical and mental tasks as they enjoy some fun competition along the way.
Since 1969, Let's Help, a 501c3, has been diligently serving the community by inspiring hope, promoting self-sufficiency, and working to break the cycle of poverty one person at a time. Each year the agency serves 89,000 free meals, gives out 3,600 food boxes, and provides emergency utility assistance to 4,000 individuals. They also offer GED instruction, computer training, and job readiness classes.
