YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment has 8 spots left in our upcoming volunteer training taking place over three days from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM via Zoom. The next training session dates are: Monday, July 13; Wednesday, July 15; and Friday, July 17.
Volunteers who complete the training play an essential role in supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking in our Day Center, shelter, and office locations.
To become a volunteer survivor advocate you will:
- Contact Erin Reazin expressing your interest (before July 10)
- Complete Volunteer Application (deadline July 10)
- Attend volunteer training (July 13, 15, & 17)
- CSE will complete a KBI background check
- Upon receipt of a clear background check, volunteer can be scheduled for hours
