On Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 1-4 pm we are holding a volunteer day to ready the camp for the summer activities (rain date is Sunday, April 24, 1-4 pm). We will clean up the gardens, work on the trails, ready the camp sites and fire rings, plant native plants and spread native grass seed on the eastern third of the 39-acre camp, etc. Please sign up for an arrival time at the url provided at the end of this description. Wear sturdy shoes (no sandals), appropriate outer clothing including a hat, and bring a water bottle. We provide work gloves and tools. You will be assigned to a project or two, and can stay for as little as 1 hour or up to 3 hours to assist us. After you sign up, we will send an email with more information about parking, etc. (we cannot provide transportation; we do encourage car pooling). Thank you for your help!
