Volunteers are needed to inventory and sort supplies in order to prepare for the packing event on August 12! Having supplies sorted and ready to go is vital to having a successful packing day on the 12th!
We will be inventorying and sorting at the United Way of Douglas County office from 12:00pm-4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 11.
Please Note:
- If you are unable to volunteer for the full time, please note this when you respond or email americorps@unitedwaydgco.org.
- Work will likely be conducted outside, dress for the weather.
- Bottled water will be provided.
- Youth under age 18 are welcome to volunteer, and need to be accompanied by an adult.
You will be supported by Erika Zimmerman, a volunteer for the school supply drive committee & Jasmine Bates, AmeriCorps Member at United Way of Douglas County.
