This is a volunteer opportunity that has both virtual and in-person requirements, which requires the volunteer to have access to a computer and internet.
The volunteer will first review applications for grants submitted in the strategy area of Healthy Community, specifically focusing on programs related to:
- Food Security
This opportunity will require the volunteer to review the applications and evaluate each based on a prescribed rubric. This evaluation will be completed in the e-CImpact online platform, and each volunteer will have access to training information and program support.
You will need to complete the review in the online system by Wednesday, March 26, at 5 p.m., and be able to participate in an in-person review and investment decision process on Wednesday, April 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Each volunteer will receive follow-up information on the review process. It is estimated that you would spend about five hours reviewing applications online in addition to the four hours of in-person panel review.
Volunteers must work or live in Shawnee or Jefferson County to participate in this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers must also not work/volunteer or have a close contact that works/volunteers for an applicant agency for this specific strategy area.
