Christmas Bureau is a program that provides food and gifts to families in need over the holiday season. For those who have been involved in the past, the Christmas Bureau database is the same as 2024. Data entry will require prior training. Email mhanson@uwkawvalley.org after you sign up to receive the link to the data entry training recording.
This position is for entering data from Spanish forms. You will read the forms in Spanish and enter the information into the online portal in English.
Attention to Detail and Accuracy is vital to the volunteer position.
The Data Entry Volunteer Opportunity is a virtual/remote volunteer opportunity. Individuals can complete the volunteer opportunity from their own home or office. Volunteers would also have access to use the volunteer room at United Way of Kaw Valley Topeka office, if you need access to a computer and internet.
For this volunteer opportunity, individuals are responsible for reading and entering individual or family information from intake forms into a secure database system. Individuals must be organized and able to read handwritten responses, as well as work with computer programs to enter information into the computer-based system.
Applications will be ready for pick-up beginning 10/30 and will run through 11/12, or until complete.
Individuals must complete the confidentiality waiver before they can participate in this volunteer opportunity.
