South Village is launching a Block Talk Neighborhood Watch, and we’re looking for neighbors who want to help keep the area informed, connected, and safe. This is a low-pressure, community-based volunteer role focused on awareness, communication, and looking out for one another—not policing. Volunteers choose how they want to help: taking a patrol shift, keeping an eye out from home, or simply staying connected to share updates.
You can:
Walk or drive a short route in the neighborhood during your chosen time
-
Be a visible, friendly presence
-
Report concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate contact
-
Never intervene — just observe and communicate
