In partnership with Briggs Subaru of Topeka, United Way of Kaw Valley will host a Subaru Cares shoe distribution for the children of Pauline South and Pauline Central schools. The event will take place at Pauline South, 7035 SW Morrill Rd, Wakarusa, KS 66546, from 9-11 am on Saturday, January 24th. Students and their families will come to select and be fitted for new shoes with the assistance of volunteers. The goal is to send as many children from the schools home with new shoes as possible. In total, a team of 5 staff and 10 volunteers will be on site to achieve this goal!
Volunteers will arrive at 8 am to help remove shoes from packaging and assist with set up. Families will begin arriving at 9 am, and volunteers will assist with fitting shoes for kids. The event will run until 11 am. Come help us ensure kids have shoes that fit!
