Pet Therapy Volunteer

Pet therapy is one of the most requested services for our Hospice patients and families. Pets are able to connect with people when sometimes other people can't, and can be particularly beneficial to dementia patients. Teams may visit at the Hospice House, in facilities, and in homes. Pet Therapy certification required; additional hospice training provided.
