Dr. Seuss Day is Monday, March 2nd.
The Shawnee County Campaign for Grade Level Reading wants to promote reading to our county the week of Dr. Seuss' Birthday!
Readers will read a book to 1/2 preschool classrooms. At the end of the reading, the volunteer will distribute a book to each student in the class, and one to the classroom teacher.
Each classroom reading should take no longer than 25 minutes. Books will be available for pick-up at the United Way of Greater Topeka office, 1527 SW Fairlawn Rd, 45 minutes before the reading is scheduled to begin.
