When: The Farmer's Market runs from 7:30-11:30 AM. Help is needed for set up and take down in addition to "staffing" the booth and engaging with the community. We have split the time into 1 hour shifts.
In accordance to the Farmer's Market rules for community booths our purpose will be to provide information only, not to collect donations.
Please dress for the weather, we will have a tent for shade, water, and sunscreen available: click here to view hourly forecast
Responsibilities:
If you sign up for the 7-8am shift you will be expected to help set up our canopy tent, tables, and materials.
If you sign up for the 11-12pm shift you will be expected to help take down our canopy tent and pack up tables and materials.
If you work any of the shifts you will be expected to talk about the Back 2 School Drive and pass out relevant materials. We'll get you up to speed on the info you need to know!
Please note the following rules from the Farmer's Market:
Conduct & Acceptable Activities: No sales or fundraising of any kind are permitted. Groups are expected to remain behind their tables and may not shout or exhibit disruptive behavior. Electronic music/sound recordings are not allowed. Community groups using political petition and or political signature gathering are permitted on a rotational basis, along with all other community groups, in order to give opportunity for a broader representation of our community at the farmers’ market throughout the market season.
