Topeka Habitat for Humanity is excited to partner with The Giving Grove and The Big Garden to plant the Quinton Heights Community Orchard!
Help us plant our orchard! Volunteers are need to help plant apple, pear, and paw paw trees, and cherry bushes. The orchard will be open to the community for harvesting in approximately 3 years. Habitat volunteers will serve as orchard stewards for the continued care of our trees. The Quinton Heights Community Orchard is the corner lot of 26th and Buchanan, Topeka KS 66611.
This is a family friendly event. Children are welcome with a parent or guardian. Tools and training will be provided on-site. Please wear closed toe shoes. Volunteers are encouraged to bring sunscreen, gloves, and a water bottle.
