This is a volunteer opportunity that has both a virtual and a report in-person requirements, which requires the volunteer to have access to a computer and internet.
The volunteer will first review applications for grants submitted in the strategy area of Food Security.
The applications focus on programs that:
- Food distribution (food and/or prepared meals) to individuals experiencing food insecurity.
- Promote community care coordination and service referrals to improve health equity and health outcomes
This opportunity will require the volunteer to review the applications and evaluate each based on a prescribed rubric. This evaluation will be completed in the e-CImpact online platform, and each volunteer will have access to training information and program support.
You will need to complete the review in the online system by March 22nd and be able to participate in an in-person review and investment decision process on Tuesday, March 28th from 10:30-12PM. Each volunteer will receive follow-up information on the review process.
Volunteers must work or live in Shawnee or Jefferson County to participate in this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers must also not work/volunteer or have a close contact that works/volunteers for an applicant agency for this specific strategy area.
